☀️ Warm and Dry Weather Returns to Svaneti
After recent rain and a notable drop in temperature, conditions are improving again.
According to Georgia's National Environmental Agency forecast, September 10-14 will bring predominantly warm weather across the region with no significant rainfall expected.
🏔 In Mestia and the high-altitude zones of western Georgia, daytime temperatures will reach around +24…+26°C, mostly without rain.
For Svaneti, this is an excellent weather window for: • trekking and hiking • trips to Ushguli and along mountain roads • sightseeing and other outdoor activities
Even with a favorable overall forecast, keep in mind that mountain weather can change very quickly, and temperatures at higher elevations will be noticeably lower than in Mestia.
Before heading out on a longer trek, check the forecast on the day of your hike and pay attention not just to rain symbols, but also to precipitation amounts in millimeters, wind conditions, and temperatures at your target elevation.
