About ProSvaneti
ProSvaneti started as a Telegram community for travelers heading to Svaneti — and grew into a local platform that helps thousands of people plan trips, find trusted drivers and get honest mountain advice.
Why local expertise matters here
Svaneti is not a click-and-book destination. Roads change with the weather, the Ushguli road can close after one snowfall, shared transfers fill up or don't run, and half the "current" information online is years old.
We live with these roads. When you ask us about a route, the answer comes from this week's conditions — not from a brochure. And if the honest answer is "don't go tomorrow, go the day after", that's what we'll say.
Where our community lives
Our Telegram bot: answers practical questions and takes transfer, tour and guide requests — the fastest way to reach us.
The Svaneti community chat, 6,000+ members. Travelers ask, locals and past visitors answer. Real-time road and weather intel lives here.
Our channel: weather posters, seasonal updates, route ideas and honest condition reports.
Meet the team
The people behind ProSvaneti — drivers, guides and organizers you might meet on a trip. Full bios are coming soon.

How we work with drivers and guides
We don't run a fleet. We work with local drivers, guides and organizers we know personally — people whose work we've seen over seasons, not profiles from a marketplace. When we hand you a contact, our own reputation in the community rides on it.
That's also why we won't promise what depends on weather, roads or third parties. We tell you the realistic version and keep in touch during your trip via Telegram.
